The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Solihull is seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that foster curiosity, understanding, and academic achievement.
You’ll plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive Science department. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to grow in a well-resourced and forward-thinking school environment.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
  • Confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Skilled in delivering practical and theoretical lessons
  • Organised, approachable, and committed to student progress
  • Able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
