Hours: 28 hours per week
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
Salary:
  • PAYE: £14.13 per hour
  • Umbrella: £18.30 per hour
Are you a reliable and community-focused professional with experience in responsive maintenance or mobile support services? Network Recruitment Wales is recruiting a Mobile Responder G5 on behalf of Cardiff Council’s Adult Services to cover a vacant post on a temporary basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting vulnerable adults and maintaining safe, responsive services across the community.
What You’ll Do:
  • Respond promptly to call-outs and incidents as a Mobile Responder, providing practical assistance and support in line with service procedures.
  • Carry out basic maintenance, safety checks, and responsive tasks within council-managed properties or community settings.
  • Work closely with Adult Services teams and other stakeholders to ensure service users’ safety and wellbeing.
  • Accurately record actions taken and report issues using appropriate systems and documentation.
  • Represent Cardiff Council professionally while working independently across different locations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a mobile, responder, caretaking, or construction/maintenance-related role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a responsive environment.
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work, with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the role is desirable.

  • Ability to meet Cardiff Council’s compliance and approval requirements.
