Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Repairs Customer Service Agent to join a busy and customer-focused repairs team within a local authority environment.
Role Details
Contract: Up to 12 months
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (umbrella)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Working Hours:
  • Monday & Tuesday: 09:00 – 14:15
  • Wednesday – Friday: 09:00 – 13:00
  • Start Date: Approximately 19th or 26th January
Training (IMPORTANT)
  • 4 weeks of full-time training based in the office
  • No annual leave or time off is permitted during the training period
  • Candidates must be able to fully commit to the training schedule
Working Pattern After Training
  • Hybrid working
  • 2–3 days per week in the office
Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience working within a local authority or council is essential
  • Strong customer service background essential
  • Contact centre and/or repairs experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to manage customer enquiries in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Basic DBS check
  • Ideally experience using NEC/Northgate
  • Candidates will be required to complete:
    • Numeracy assessment
    • Literacy assessment
