As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be involved in all project stages, from concept design through to handover, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and seamless coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and emergency back-up systems
- Produce calculations, technical drawings, and Revit/CAD documentation
- Conduct site surveys and liaise with contractors, clients, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with UK standards (BS 7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations)
- Support project delivery, including schedule tracking, budget management, and quality control
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and multidisciplinary teams
- Stay up-to-date with technical innovations, regulations, and best practices
- Learn from and contribute to a fully in-house team structure
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Electrical, Building Services, or related Engineering discipline
- 2–5 years’ experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy
- Proficient with CAD, Revit, and electrical calculation/design tools
- Strong understanding of UK electrical regulations and building standards
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Proactive problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Full UK driving licence
