JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancer
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: Cheshire
SALARY: Up to £65,000 (DOE)
OVERVIEW:
• Overall responsibility for the residential property team as Head of Department
• Ensure efficient workflow management and high quality service delivery
• Drive sustained departmental growth
• Manage a reduced but varied caseload, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages
• Provide day to day supervision of the team
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans
• Ensure compliance with CQS and SRA standards
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior fee earners
• Work closely with the Partners on: Departmental reporting, financial oversight and business development initiatives
THE CANDIDATE:
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
• Minimum of 3 years’ residential conveyancing experience
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong technical expertise across all aspects of conveyancing
• Confident managing client relationships
• Able to contribute to the firm’s wider commercial strategy
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the local property market and surrounding estates is highly desirable
