FAMILY SOLICITOR, 5+ YEARS PQE, CHESTER, TO C£70,000 + HYBRID WORKING – Successful, Legal 500 firm offering great opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to take on a key role in the team. JOB REF:2485
A well-established, full-service law firm with a strong regional reputation is expanding and seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to play a key role in developing its Chester presence.
With deep roots in the North West and a client-focused, modern approach, the firm is known for professional integrity, high standards of service, and excellent results across private client work. This is a rare opportunity to shape and grow a Family Law offering within a respected, forward-thinking practice.
The Role
You will be instrumental in developing the Family Law department in Chester, working alongside a highly regarded regional team. The role suits someone who combines strong technical ability, a commercial approach and a genuine commitment to outstanding client care.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedies, children matters and cohabitation disputes
• Playing a strategic role in the growth of the Chester office
• Building strong, trusted client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to business development and networking activity
About You
• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in private family law
• Strong technical expertise across all areas of family work
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Empathetic, proactive and commercially minded
• Strong connections across the Cheshire market
• Experience supervising or mentoring others is advantageous
