SEND Teacher – Special School – Birmingham

- Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual needs
- Teaching small classes of pupils or students with SEND
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants to provide consistent and effective support
- Creating a calm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting communication, social development, and independence
- Monitoring progress and adapting learning to ensure every learner succeeds
- Working collaboratively with families, therapists, and wider professionals
We are looking for a SEND Teacher who has
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a SEND Teacher or a strong desire to move into SEND teaching
- A patient, flexible, and creative approach to teaching
- Confidence supporting learners with Autism, MLD, and additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference as a SEND Teacher
