Job Role:
- Teaching and planning for a small class of students with moderate to complex learning needs
- Creating an engaging, supportive and structured learning environment
- Differentiating lessons to meet a wide range of abilities and communication profiles
- Working closely with a team of Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support
- Building rapport with pupils and promoting confidence, independence and progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, therapists, and senior leaders
- QTS or QTLS (essential)
- Previous experience of working with SEND, ideally Autism, MLD or complex needs is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach
- A commitment to inclusive practice and personalised learning
- Small class sizes with excellent TA support
