Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)
About the role:
We are currently looking for highly motivated dynamic individual to join a Adult Mental Health Social Work Team within Adult Services in South East Wales, on a temp basis.
Adult Services is a multi-disciplinary division that works together with partner agencies to meet the social care needs of adult who experience mental distress in the area. The aim is to work proactively with individuals, to promote choice, control, positive risk taking and meaningful social inclusion in order to achieve positive recovery outcomes in the area that matters most.
You will need to be a registered social worker and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). You should have experience of a wide range of social care processes and excellent assessment and risk management skills. We are looking for flexibility, enthusiasm and dedication to working positively with individuals in the community and hospital settings. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is a key factor. In return, our client will provide you with a supportive environment with good opportunities to develop your career.

- A degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
- Completed relevant post-qualifying training - AMHP
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and written skills
