Principal Fire Safety Surveyor – West London
£450 per day (Umbrella)
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
West London (some remote working may be available, subject to service needs)
We are recruiting a Principal Fire Safety Surveyor to lead on fire safety compliance within a large and complex organisation based in West London. This is a key role responsible for ensuring robust fire safety standards, effective risk management, and statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.

We are recruiting a Principal Fire Safety Surveyor to lead on fire safety compliance within a large and complex organisation based in West London. This is a key role responsible for ensuring robust fire safety standards, effective risk management, and statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee fire safety management within a facilities management environment
- Carry out fire safety inspections and audits across buildings
- Identify, assess, and prioritise fire risks and hazards in complex settings
- Develop and implement effective compliance and monitoring systems
- Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation
- Deliver clear presentations and training to staff and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice and leadership on fire safety matters
- 5+ years experience of Fire, Health and Safety management, including
- Full professional membership to the IFE or similar professional qualifications (i.e. CIOB / RICS / CIH).
- Advanced Fire Safety and Fire Risk Assessment certificate
- NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1 / FC2 or similar qualifications.
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Must have experience working in a council or housing association to be considered.
