Job Title: Resident Engagement Manager
Contract: 6 months ongoing contgract
Location: London (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Rate: £350 per day (Umbrella)
Start: ASAP – interviews taking place immediately
Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Engagement Manager to lead a key Resident Engagement Reset project within Housing services. This role focuses on strengthening resident involvement, improving service transparency, and ensuring services are fully prepared for regulatory inspection.
Working closely with the Head of Resident Involvement & Participation, you will help embed best practice engagement approaches, ensure compliance with the Social Housing Act Consumer Standards, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to shape services.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Resident Engagement Reset project, driving new and effective ways of working.
- Prepare Housing services for regulatory inspection, including evidence gathering and compliance review.
- Manage and develop resident engagement structures, forums, and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead statutory and non-statutory consultation exercises, including s105 and s20 processes.
- Embed and sustain improvements to engagement practices across services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Lead communication and engagement with residents and stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting on progress, outcomes, and compliance.
- Support and develop engagement officers, promoting best practice.
- Proven experience in a Resident Engagement Manager or similar role.
- Strong project management and change delivery experience.
- Experience preparing services for regulatory inspection.
- Knowledge of statutory consultation processes (s105/s20).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
- Familiarity with housing legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing or coaching small teams.
- Office-based in London, 5 days per week
- Flexibility to attend meetings/events outside normal working hours
